When illustrating a caricature it is important to not just stare at the shapes and forms of the face, but to take the expressions and formulate a personality for that individual. This is especially important for figures who are well known, such as World Leaders

My goal with these world leader caricatures was to capture the essence of each individual and stylize the portrait with using minimal line-work and color tones. The end result is a very graphical representation of each leader.
