Conceptart.org Creature Design
Conceptart.org has a weekly Creature of the Week challenge. Every week they throw out a concept or idea to design a creature around. When I have the time to participate, I take the time to do a digital painting to best capture the concept of the creature defined by the challenge. I like to focus on an imaginative take on the concept while also developing a creature that has a foundation of creatures from real life.
